GP Care is delighted to announce that its Community Urology Diagnostic and Assessment Service is performing very well and has recently been extended by South Gloucestershire PCT to include:
- All 250,000 patients within South Gloucestershire PCT; and
- Patients with Visible/Macro Haematuria as well as those with Invisible/Micro Haematuria
Roger Tweedale, GP Care Chief Executive commented that "the Service has now been in operation since November 2007 and has been very well received by both patients and GPs who appreciate the one-stop, consultant led approach which presents a written report to patients at the end of the consultation and also to the patient's registered GP on the same day. The community location with excellent access and parking and dedicated appointment scheduling that runs to time is also very much welcomed by patients. Whilst getting good feedback is welcome we continue to seek further improvements to this service and also to the other services that GP Care currently delivers to NHS and private patients."
