Andrew Manning, who joined GP Care several months ago as Chair, is to step in as interim CEO as Ian Morgan moves on to new ventures.
Manning, a very experienced leader of service organisations, and an alumnus of Harvard Business School, commented
“Ian joined us during a period of transition from the original executive team that set up the business almost 10 years ago. During his tenure as CEO he has focused on the development of strategic direction- to firmly position us as a provider of health services in the community linking primary and secondary care- investment in our platform for growth, and the recruitment of key executives; most recently Carole Bayliss has joined us from GE as Head of Operations.
We would like to thank him for his input and stewardship during this period, and wish him well in his new venture.
I look forward to working more closely with the GP Care team over the coming few months as we seek a successor to Ian and we continue to execute on our strategy in a dynamic, and challenging, environment for health services.”
