GP Care achieves call response times of under 8 seconds throughout 2012

GP Care is pleased to announce that it has achieved average telephone answering times of less than 8 seconds on all of its clinical services throughout 2012 - this for both patient and GP calls to our service teams.

Our services are designed such that calls are answered by people and NOT voice automated telecoms systems and we believe that this makes a significant difference to the ease with which patients and GPs can access the services and also to the cost efficiency which allows us to share savings with NHS commissioners.

One GP commented that "the very fact that I even think about calling GP Care to quickly check something makes me realise that I have got used to their services being consistently easy to access. Recently I called to get a copy discharge report and had a copy in my hands only two minutes later - this is what services should be like."
