GP Care prepares CQC Support Package for GP practices

GP Care has commenced preparation of a support package for GP practices, all of whom are currently being advised that they have to register with the Care Quality Commission with effect from April 2012.

The CQC registration process is a challenge in itself, however the real work lies in reviewing practice policies, procedures and documentation to ensure that they are compliant with CQC requirements. This is a process that GP practices should commence sooner rather than later and the GP Care support package is intended to be a 'road map' as to what is required.

More details will be released shortly. In the mean time, if any GP Care Member practices have any questions at all then they should contact GP Care on 0333 332 2100 for more information. If any non-member practices within Bristol, BANES, North Somerset or S Gloucestershire wish to become members of GP Care then please call us on 0333 332 2100.
