Jasek Szymanski joined the company on the 10th November 2014 after almost 19 years working across both Southmead and Frenchay Hospitals. He is a Registered Nurse having specialised in Adult Medicine, but worked for many years in a management role as well as some time with the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement. Jasek’s last role was as a Clinical Planner within the Capital Projects team leading on many aspects of the design, build and move into the new Brunel building at Southmead.
This is an investment in senior management for GP Care to help us deliver services across a wider geographical area and ensure clinicians are well supported out in the field. Jasek’s new role will provide professional leadership and management to the clinical teams and assist with the development of existing and new services within GP Care whilst also supporting Annie Kelly, Operations Director. Amongst other things, Jasek will be taking over Clinical Governance, Safeguarding and Control of Infection responsibilities, ensuring that we provide high quality, safe and effective services.
