GP Care is now taking bookings for Winter 2008 Flu Vaccinations at over 30 clinics across South Gloucestershire, Bristol and North Somerset. This is for patients who are not eligible for an NHS vaccination - at an all inclusive cost of £15.
GP Care Flu Vaccination clinic appointments are available in the evenings and at weekends from October through to December. There is a wide choice of venues and times but we advise you to book early. The price for winter 2008 remains at £15 per patient - the same as for our 2006 and 2007 flu vaccination programmes.
All of our Flu Vaccinations are performed by qualified medical staff using vaccine recommended by the NHS to tackle this year’s strains of the virus. Clinics are held at GP premises throughout Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset and all venues have good access and parking.

Influenza is a viral infection affecting the respiratory system. It usually strikes between October and May and generally lasts for 3-5 days although complications can follow and last for up to 3 weeks. All patients aged 65 or over, carers and those with certain medical conditions are entitled to a free NHS vaccination.
