December Inspection by the Care Quality Commission

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) will be visiting GP Care next month to inspect our services. The CQC are the independent regulator of all health and care services in England. Four inspectors will be on site at GP Care’s Head Office in Bristol to interview staff at every level of the organisation. Inspectors will also visit a number of clinics to meet patients and seek their views regarding the care they have received. Clinical staff will also be observed and interviewed. GP Care’s policies, processes and documentation will be examined and its clinic and office sites scrutinised.

During the visit the CQC inspectors are required to answer the following questions : is GP Care safe? Is it effective? Is GP Care caring? Is GP Care responsive to people’s needs? Is the organisation well-led? They will also provide a rating. For more information about CQC inspections, please visit https://www.cqc.org.uk/what-we-do/how-we-do-our-job/what-we-do-inspection.

Following the inspection, a report and rating will be published on the website www.cqc.org.uk.
